Check-in with Thai Airways International

Other than standard counter check-in at the airport, passengers can also use mobile check-in and kiosk check-in services. Online check-in (iCheck-In) is offered from 24 hours until one hour prior to departure. The amount of checked luggage allowed free on Thai flights depends on the passenger's ticket class. Maximum allowed weights range from 30 kilograms for economy class up to 50 kilograms for Royal Silk Class on international flights along with cabin luggage that adheres to IATA guidelines. Passengers are advised to check their luggage allowance when they book.

Hand luggage

Hand luggage at Thai Airways International may not exceed 56 x 45 x 25 cm. The maximum allowed weight is 7 kg. In addition, it is allowed to bring a smaller item, such as a handbag, camera bag or laptop bag. This must not be larger than 37 x 25 x 12 cm.

Checked baggage

• In Economy Class you can take 1 suitcase with a maximum weight of 30 kg. This can be 158 cm (l + w + h).
• If you travel in Premium Economy or Royal Silk Class, you are allowed to bring a suitcase weighing up to 40 kg.
• If you travel in Royal First Class, your luggage can weigh up to 50 kg.
