Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) was launched in 1992 following a collaboration between the Ukrainian State Association of Civil Aviation and the largest aircraft lessor, GPA (thereafter known as AerCap B.V.). The airlines' first flight was on 25th November 1992 from Kyiv to London.
Ukraine International Airlines offers short-haul, medium-haul, and long-haul flights to its passengers. For all of these flights, the airline strives to provide the best services for all passengers on board. Passengers get to choose among three cabin classes; Economy, Economy Premium, and Business Class. Passengers travelling in any of the cabins all get at least a meal and a beverage.
Ukraine International Airlines allows its passengers to check-in either at the airport or online via the website or the UIA mobile app. You'll then have to download your boarding pass or print it out.
Extra or overweight baggage can be paid for online via the ‘Manage my Bookings’ portal on the Ukraine International Airlines website no later than six hours prior to departure. Payment for the extra or overweight baggage service can be paid at the airport, but only by bank card. Amount of the fee will vary based on the route, weight or size.

There have been new laws that have gone into effect in Ukraine, so passenger contact information is now mandatory at time of booking. UIA is now requiring that all passengers have a printed boarding pass, or an electronic boarding pass (downloaded on your mobile device in advance) when travelling on UIA flights. If UIA is required to print a boarding pass for any of our passengers, there will be a charge of 15 Euros, or local equivalent, for each boarding pass.
