In the Meena Bazaar, you will find old-fashioned shopping, where you can buy a variety of products from the locals like traditional clothing, raw silks, cashmeres and more.
2. Enjoy the view from the Burj Khalifa
The most visited landmark in Dubai, the Burj Khalifa is not only an architectural masterpiece, but also the tallest building in the world. At 828 metres, it is three times as tall as the Eiffel Tower. The building, which towers over the city holds seven world records, including having the highest number of stories in the world and the highest outfoor observation deck in the world. There are two floors from where you can look out and enjoy the spectacular views of the city, on floor 124 and on floor 148. There is also a restaurant-bar on the 122nd floor which is worth a try as well. Certainly a must-visit on your trip, book your tickets early to skip the lines here.
3. The Dubai Mall: Shop till you drop
Home to more than 1,200 shops, the Dubai Mall currently holds the title for the biggest shopping mall in the world, so you can really shop till you drop! The mall has much more to offer than just shopping though - you can visit its Aquarium and Underwater Zoo, or take a spin around its mega ice-skating rink. Don’t miss the beautiful water fountains outside the mall, where a five-minute music and light show runs every half-hour from 6 p.m.
4. Super Deluxe Lunch at the Burj Al Arab
Dubai's most iconic hotel, the Burj Al Arab is the definition of luxury. With its own private beach, an infinity pool terrace, Michelin-starred chefs, and a world-class spa, a stay at the 7-star hotel is an unforgettable experience. Alternatively, you can go there for a meal, a drink or luxury high tea. Enjoy the most breathtaking views of the city as well as the interior of the magnificent hotel.
5. Visit the Gorgeous Mosques
Dubai is home to some of the most intricately-designed mosques. Although many mosques only permit Muslims, there are quite a few that open their doors to tourists. Visit the Jumeriah Mosque, an architectural beauty of Dubai that was built in 1979. The Al Farooq Mosque is another stunning mosque, that was inspired by the Blue Mosque in Istanbul. The interior is just as stunning as the outside, as it is decorated with beautiful Iznik tiles.
6. Stay overnight in the desert of Dubai
The Dubai desert is the perfect place to visit for a fun-filled adventure. Tear across the glorius sand dunes by jeep, sandsurf, or go for a camel ride along the desert.
