Flights to Cape Town

Cape Town is one of the most beautiful harbour cities in the world. Nestled at the foot of the iconic Table Mountain, it is the second-largest city in South Africa. It has had a long and colourful history. Ideally placed for sailors heading round the Cape Horn on their way to the east, it became a Dutch settlement in the 17th century and spent over a century as a British colony. Many of the anti-apartheid movement leaders lived in Cape Town and with the dark days of apartheid's racial discrimination being long gone, South Africa is now a democratic Rainbow Nation. The heritage of that time is preserved on Robben Island and in the District Six Museum.
