Where should you start? In 48 hours, we'll take you to the different hotspots and hidden gems in the city. You'll be well prepared to kick off your weekend in Rome. It's so handy!

Day 1 - During the day
What better way to start the day than with a genuine Italian panino? You simply have to try it when you're in Italy. At Mordi e Vai, you can enjoy the most delicious pulled pork, artichoke hearts with spinach, homemade meatballs in tomato sauce or grilled fish. An excellent start to you Italian adventure! Then you'll have more than enough energy to explore the city.

Day 1 - Night
Everyone knows you can enjoy a delicious meal in Rome. But what is really a top restaurant where you can eat the tastiest food, at a good price? Since you're close to the Pantheon, you can go to Armando al Pantheon. It's located in a tourist area, but they know what they are doing! Don't let the (boring) décor put you off... It's all about what's on your plate, after all!

The next day...

Time for your second day in this bustling city! And to kick it off, enjoy a lovely breakfast at Panino Rico. There's no shortage of sandwiches and good coffee! It's also in the ideal location. Because from here, if you look closely, you can see the Trevi Fountain. Make sure you have some small change from your breakfast at hand to throw in Trevi Fountain and make a wish.

Day 2 - During the day
Walking from the (often very busy) Trevi Fountain towards the river, you can see the Vatican City ahead of you. Going there makes for a day well spent. In the morning, visit the building with the large dome, the world-famous St. Peter's Basilica.

Day 2 - Night
At D'Arcangelo's, they make the best gnocchi in town. Wow, as soft as butter! You can also get other typical Italian dishes here. Like stewed meat. Or try the fried rice balls with mozzarella. Buon appetito!
